About the Author
I would never have imagined I would ever be writing or publishing any books. My mother introduced me to reading since I was a kid. She not only modeled but also encouraged me by reading to me, buying me my own books and visits to the library. Needless to say, reading has never stopped, however my interests in genre’s has changed a lot over the years. I have struggled in many way’s to fully communicate my thoughts and feelings and overtime, I have built the muscle of writing and expressing. It has been very healing to be able to write, as I have struggled with a deep core wound of not feeling that I could have a voice. And the many years I suppressed expression at all. Reading allowed me to escape rough moments in my childhood, where I felt alone. Reading continued to make me feel less alone whenever I read books where I felt I was not only learning something, but I have learned a lot about myself and life. I often connected a lot to the Authors/Writers and my biggest goal is to be able to be that someone who may also make someone else feel seen like others have done for me. Journaling Journey – Diving Deep has been my first attempt at creating, writing and publishing. Not only have I have been a fan of journaling as a mental health practice but it was also a way to get my feet wet without adding so much pressure on myself to create a book that felt quite intimidating.
